You must complete all steps under Account Holder Registration Process if you are not already a WREGIS account holder.                  

1. Log in to your primary account and select "Register New Generator"; located under the Asset Management Menu

2. Complete online registration form for each unit; multiple units can be registered in one account                                                                                                                                      
3. Collect verification documents 

All units must submit proof or documentation of revenue meter id as well as: 

     a. For Generating Units 1 MW and larger located within the U.S.:
i.    EIA 860 for most recent calendar year and Utility Interconnection Agreement if requested
ii.    For new units that have not yet filed an EIA 860, a Substantial Completion Certification and Utility Interconnection Agreement or
iii.    For new units that have not yet filed an EIA 860, a PPA and Utility Interconnection Agreement.

     b. For Generating Units smaller than 1 MW located within the U.S.:  

i.    EIA 860 for most recent calendar year, or
ii.    Utility Interconnection Agreement and Manufacturer's specifications, or
iii.    Purchased Power Agreement

     c. For Generating Units 1 MW and larger located in Canada:  

i.    Please contact the WREGIS Administrator at wregisadmin@wecc.biz
       

     d. For Generating Units smaller that 1 MW located in Canada:

i.    Utility Interconnection Agreement and Manufacturer's specifications, or
ii.    Purchased Power Agreement

     e. For Generating Units 1 MW and larger located in Mexico:

i.    Please contact the WREGIS Administrator at wregisadmin@wecc.biz

     f. For Generating Units smaller that 1 MW located in Mexico:

i.    Utility Interconnection Agreement and Manufacturer's specifications, or
ii.    Purchased Power Agreement

4. Email verification documents to the WREGIS Administrator at  wregisadmin@wecc.biz

     a. A complete packet will include required documents as described above. If you choose to send hard copies, please mail this packet to:

5. Once online registration is complete and the WREGIS Administrator receives the verification packet, WREGIS Staff will review the packet.

     a. If the packet is incomplete or additional information is required, the WREGIS Administrator will notify the submitter at the email address provided in the online registration in WREGIS.

6. Once registration materials are complete and validated, an email notification describing activation will be sent to the contact email address provided on your online registration form.

 At this point, the Registration Process is complete.

Please note that the WREGIS Administrator reserves the right to require the submission of any documents described within the Operating Rules for use in the validation process. For more information regarding guideline, requirements, and rules governing generating units, refer to the Operating Rules. Also note that the Account Holder is solely responsible for contacting and arranging data reporting with its Qualified Reporting Entity.
